Cenote Ik Kil, also known as Cenote Azul, is located 3 kilometers from Chichen Itza . This is one of the most sought-after cenotes by tourists visiting the Riviera Maya. It is a beautiful and gigantic natural sinkhole, located within an eco-archaeological park.
The Ik Kil Cenote is 50 meters deep and 60 meters in diameter, making it one of the largest cenotes in the region. Many people wonder how to get to the Ik Kil Cenote, but the truth is that access to it is relatively easy, since it is located inside a park. Tourists will only have to follow a trail, or they can also drive there.
