At Azulik, each of the 48 chalets, called villas, is characterized by its organic and perfect harmony with the Mayan jungle bathed by the Caribbean Sea, allowing guests to have a 360-degree view from the chalets.
At Azulik, the chalets are like tree houses, built into the rocks so that guests have the best view.
The chalets do not have electricity, internet, TV or telephone so that guests have an ideal atmosphere to reconnect with themselves and nature.
It’s practically a “detox” from the rush and technology we have in our daily lives.
Lighting is provided naturally during the day, and candles take over at night.
This decision to keep the chalets free of internet and electricity was also due to Azulik minimizing the environmental impacts that the project causes in the area.
Water is also a serious issue at Azulik. The water that supplies the hotel comes from the region's cenotes, which provide super pure and invigorating water.
