Ferry companies to Cozumel

There are currently 3 ferry companies that cross from the port of Playa del Carmen to Cozumel.

You can choose between Barcos del Caribe, México Waterjets and Ultramar and the companies normally run the route starting at 7:00 and ending at 23:00 with a frequency of 1 hour.

Caribbean Boats: their schedule is from 6:45 to 23:00

Mexico WaterJets: They operate from 9:00 am to 19:00 pm

Overseas: its schedule is from 7:00 to 23:00.

The cost of going to Cozumel varies between 25 and 30 reais (individual) and my tip is that you always buy a ticket for the next ferry, regardless of the company.

Another important tip is not to buy the round trip ticket all at once, as you may want to stay longer and just arrive 20 or 30 minutes in advance and buy it on the spot.
