One of the highlights of my stay at this elegant hotel was the gastronomic experience. From breakfast to dinner, I was spoilt for choice with so many options (one better than the other).
For breakfast, you can't miss the chilaquiles (fried tortillas with chili sauce, cheese and eggs). This is a Mexican specialty that you can find in most restaurants, but at Mystique Blue I tried one of the best.
At lunchtime, always accompanied by a cold beer and a beautiful view of the sea, my suggestion is the octopus and shrimp toasts and the traditional ceviche (there's nothing better than that).
For dinner I wanted to try a lot of things, but the lobster pizza (a traditional dish on the island) and the flambéed shrimp were my choices. The final preparation of the shrimp is done at your table with a spectacle involving fire (truly unmissable). The taste? Delicious!!!!!!

How to get to Mystique Blue Holbox
The island of Holbox is approximately 150 km from Cancun and getting there is very easy.
You have to go to the city of Chiquilá and take the ferry to the island. The cost of each trip is 150 pesos (approximately 32 reais).
When you arrive on the island, you need to take a taxi from the port exit. The taxi costs approximately 70 pesos (approximately 15 reais) to Mystique Blue.
Activities in Holbox
There are also plenty of local activities for lovers of exotic wildlife, nature and the idyllic turquoise coastline of this tropical island paradise.
Guests at Mystique Blue will enjoy a natural paradise that can be explored by bike rides to the village, bird watching, ocean cruises, deep sea fishing, kite surfing, SUP, snorkeling and the beautiful bioluminescence tour, one of the coolest things I have ever seen. From May to September, friendly whale sharks frequent the waters around the island and guests can take snorkeling tours to get up close to these magnificent creatures. Tours can be booked before or after arrival at the hotel.
Mystique Blue Holbox is truly one of the best hidden wonders on this island and my suggestion is to reserve at least two days to enjoy and relax in this paradise.
