If you don't know what to wear to a party in Cancun, you'll find everything you need at the party. From people dressed up to the occasional person in shorts and flip-flops. It all depends on the venue.
Nightclubs – American and Mexican women usually dress up for this occasion. Dresses and high heels are the most common at the club. As for men, shorts with shoes (or sneakers) and a polo shirt may be enough.

This is one of my favorites, because it is where you can combine partying and fun with the beauty of the sea and the beaches of Cancun. It offers incredible tropical drinks. In addition, this beach club has large pools and jacuzzis, and organizes nighttime activities and beach competitions. All of this accompanied by the best music of the moment. At Mandala Cancun, for a price of 55USD, you can have access to this disco and the open bar.

8 – Bulldog Cancun
An excellent alternative to enjoy Cancun's nightlife with the best live shows, featuring quality artists and a variety of musical genres. Bulldog Cancun has hosted international bands such as Radiohead, Guns' n Roses, Poison, The Misfits, and other Latin American rock bands such as Molotov, Jarabe del Palo, Zurdok, Jumbo, etc. on its main stage.

On Sundays, there’s the Glow Party, filled with glow sticks, body paint, and a paint fight. Wear glow-in-the-dark accessories to make your night a dazzling one. The paint fight starts at midnight, so jump on stage and get ready to get colorful.

11 – Guanatos Cancun
Guanatos is an affectionate nickname given to the city of Guadalajara. And like Guadalajara, this small bar located in the Plaza de Toros in Cancun, serves ice-cold beer that can be natural or the famous michelada (beer prepared with lemon, pepper, tomato juice and other secrets) or chelada (beer with salt, lemon and ice).
It's also a great option to try the traditional Torta Ahogada (a pork sandwich dipped in tomato sauce and chili sauce). If you like spicy food, you can't miss this delight. Of course, it's not as good as the ones served in Guadalajara, but you get the idea. I challenge you!

A great place with a typical Caribbean atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to dance salsa in Cancun, or merengue, bachata and cumbia, this is the right place to plan your night. Every night there are numerous musical groups that will make you sing and dance to these wonderful rhythms. Fun themed parties are also organized frequently.

13 – Sugar Cancun
Azúcar is one of the bars in Cancun that specializes in Latin rhythms. They play the best Salsa and Merengue bands, among other rhythms, from different Latin American countries. The venue only has a capacity for 215 people, so it is important to make a reservation in advance. Azúcar Cancun does not have an open bar and the entrance fee is 85 USD per person.

14 – The 4 elements
If you like bohemian style and live music, plan a night out at this bar. This is one of the best bars in downtown Cancun to make the most of the nightlife, as it offers a friendly atmosphere for you to enjoy fabulous parties and rock in Spanish. 15 – The Black Pub Cancun
It’s definitely one of my favorites outside of Cancun’s Hotel Zone. With a very British atmosphere and excellent rock bands, it’s a great place to have a good beer and enjoy something different in Cancun.
This pub serves delicious food and specializes in burgers. It is located next to the Plaza de Toros in a gallery with shops and other bars. It is also frequented by many locals. It is worth a visit!
