How to get to Cenote Suytun

From Valladolid: The cenote is a short distance from Valladolid. If you have a car, it will only take about 15 minutes To get there, follow Route 180 east from Valladolid and you will find signs that will guide you to Cenote Suytun. If you don’t have a car, you can take a taxi or a bus from the center of Valladolid.
From Cancun: If you are coming from Cancun, It's worth renting a car e the trip is approximately two hours. Take road 180D (a toll road) west to Valladolid and then follow the signs to Cenote Suytun.
From Merida: if you are in Mérida, the capital of Yucatan, the car journey will take about two hours. Take Highway 180 east to Valladolid and then follow the signs to Cenote Suytun.
From Playa del Carmen: if you are in Playa del Carmen, the trip will take about an hour and a half. Take Highway 305 west to Valladolid and then follow the signs to Cenote Suytun.
From Tulum: If you are coming from Tulum, you can be reached by car in approximately one hour. Take Highway 109 west to Valladolid and then follow the signs to Cenote Suytun.
What is the best time to take the famous photo at Suytun?

When I visited the Suytun cenote, I chose to go earlier, right at opening, as I was in Valladolid and it was very close by.
Upon arriving at the opening you will possibly have the entire cenote to yourself, because the buses with tourists start arriving from 10 am in the morning and then things get tough!
To take the famous photo, you will have to face queues, as the sun enters through the cave crack around noon when there are many tourists in the place. However, Just be patient and enjoy the ride, and you will be able to take your photo.
