THE SERIOUS PROBLEM: The lagoon is changing color and turning greenish because tourists are stepping on the stromatolites, entering the water with sunscreen on, and accommodations are dumping sewage into the lagoon. When you step on a stromatolite, you kill thousands of years of life.
